Our God is the God of do-overs. When we pray for our children young, old or in between, we place them on the Potter’s Wheel. This is the place where they hear His words and He molds and shapes them. When He finds places within them that are marred, damaged or spoiled He forms them into something new.
Prayer Prompt:
Father, I rejoice as I come before You, our Maker. I thank you that __________ is the clay and you are the Potter, __________ is the work of your hands. See the parts of him/her that are marred and help ___________ to hear your words as You mold his/her life for the good.
Scriptures:
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:
But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8
“Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Jeremiah 18: 2-4
